Senate GOP boss rejects health bill without reading it

So why is this significant?

Let me take you back to 1994, when McConnell's predecessor was Bob Dole, Senate GOP leader. Dole openly admitted that he was rounding up the votes to kill the Clinton health bill, although he had never even read it. Because, then as now, it was vital for the Republicans to kill any health care legislation because, as people like Bill Kristol admitted, the successful passage of health care legislation would create a whole new generation of Democrats and inflict grievous damage on the Republicans.

Yet again, for Republicans it's more important to attack America's Democrats, than to attack America's problems. No matter how many thousands of Americans sicken, die, go bankrupt, lose their homes because of their irresponsible obstruction.
