Grassley is supposed to be the moderate Republican that Baucus can negotiate with, to craft a Senate health bill, right?
How are we supposed to negotiate with the kind of knucklehead capable of spewing nonsense like this?
“You have every right to fear. You shouldn’t have counseling at the end of life, you should have done that 20 years before. Should not have a government run plan to decide when to pull the plug on grandma.”
Senator Baucus needs to wake up and realize that the Republicans will never negotiate seriously, and it's time to move on.
And every Republican who uses the phrase "pull the plug on grandma" needs to be smacked upside the head with a fucking 2x4.
