GOP will blame Obama for unemployment mess they created

As the Times reports, in the next several months, more than a million people will lose their unemployment checks, their last protection against eviction and honest-to-God poverty.

The only reason that this disaster hasn't hit us already, is that Obama's stimulus package, which the Republicans violently opposed, coughed up the money to extend the unemployment coverage.

But this winter, when the disaster strikes in earnest, the Republicans, who created the underlying economic problems during the Bush era and then viciously resisted Obama's efforts to solve them...will blame Obama for it all, because an election year will be starting.
