Pelosi: House health care plan out on the floor by July

Obama and Biden met with Pelosi and some Democratic House members -- no Republicans, no Senators -- and then Pelosi announced that the House plan was coming in less than three months.

We already know Obama wants the public option for health care. And we know the insurers hate and fear the public option, and that some Senators are starting to waffle on the public option, and that some conservative House Democrats are complaining that their views aren't being sufficiently represented in the coming plan.

This is Obama's way of drawing a line in the sand: Pelosi is going to give me the plan I want before the rest of you can screw this up, and then if need be we'll use the budget reconciliation option to get that plan, or something like it, through the Senate in the fall.
