Britain’s new offshore wind farm will power 750,000 homes

The farm will sit in the mouth of the Thames river near London. At a cost of about $3 billion, it will supply enough power for 750,000 homes, so do the math: if America invests, say, $100 billion in this technology, it would power 25 million homes with renewable energy, saving us gobs of money.

The British system will also take 2 million tons of CO2 out of the air.

Obama is planning a similar offshore wind farm for the U.S.
